Find Child Care

Parents and guardians can find child care through LOCATE: Child Care, a comprehensive directory of child care offerings throughout the state.

You can conduct a self-guided online search through the LOCATE Assist website, maintained by the Maryland Family Network, or speak to one of our experienced counselors Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1-877-261-0060. Through LOCATE: Child Care, you can find regulated child care programs in Maryland that include family child care, child care centers, before- and after-school programs, summer camps, Head Start programs, nursery schools, part-day programs, and private kindergarten programs.

Because parents regularly visit the  LOCATE: Child Care website to make informed decisions about child care, it is critical that you keep your information accurate and updated.
