Training for child care professionals

Child Resource Connect offers a wide variety of Maryland State Department (MSDE) Office of Child Care (OCC) approved trainings. Choose from workshops in the areas of child development, curriculum, community, special needs, health and safety, and professionalism. We also offer monthly first aid and CPR classes.

The Maryland Child Care Resource Network (MCCRN) is comprised of the regional Child Care Resource Centers, which provide training to meet Maryland child care requirements, and coaching and support on all aspects of owning and operating a child care in Maryland. These courses are available through the MCCRN, a program of Maryland Family Network with funding from the Maryland State Department of Education.
